Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- co-ordinating and supervising the staff team on a day to day basis
- ensuring staff implement person centred planning, communication approaches, positive risk management and positive behaviour support guidelines
- enabling service users to live active lives, develop skills, encourage social inclusion and progress towards greater independence
- maintaining excellent working relationships with service users, families and involved professionals
- working shifts on a 24 hour rota including sleep ins
- ensuring the service exceeds Care Quality Commission expectations
- we are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our team to enable our Service Users to lead happy and fulfilled lives
Requirements
- experience working with within a health or social care setting
- experience of working with people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
- experience of working as part of a team
- good communication skills
- be caring, sensitive and understanding
- have the ability to work well under pressure and with other health professionals
- being energetic, resourceful and having a caring nature
- providing care: 1 year
