  • due to internal promotion an opportunity has arisen within the Accounts department for a part time purchase ledger assistant
  • issuing customer invoices and credit notes, and dealing with relating queries
  • posting of supplier invoices into the AP ledger and matching to PO’s
  • assisting the accounts assistant with customer statements, proactive chasing of payments and chasing for overdue payments
  • posting and sending supplier invoices without a PO, for authorisation, through our ERP system
  • supplier statement reconciliations, and loading of supplier payments within the bank portal for second authorisation

Requirements

  • minimum 1 year experience of purchase ledger experience desirable
  • strong communication, time-management, and organisational skills
  • previous experience with accounting software packages desirable
  • AAT qualification/part qualification advantageous, but not essential
  • purchase ledger: 1 year
