Responsibility
- salary - £30,000 to £35,000
- location - Kirkham, Preston, PR4 2SH
- to escalate more complex technical issues to the Senior Engineers and Service Desk Manager
- to prepare and configure new equipment including PCs, laptops, routers, servers, network switches and Wi-fi access points
- to communicate with third party suppliers in relation to technical issues and service delivery
- to provide proactive support to clients and end-users by monitoring and updating IT systems and responding in advance to potential issues
- configure and support Microsoft 365 and security services and escalate more complex issues to the specialist departments
- to provide 2ndline technical support to clients and end-users through various channels including phone, email and in person in line with required SLAs
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- problem-solving and analytical skills
- technical Support
- strong Customer Service and communication
- windows OS, macOS
- MSP experience
- 2 years of IT Support experience, ideally at a Managed Service Provider
- desktop Troubleshooting
- prioritisation and time management skills
