laboratory technician
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- to provide daily support to Bioconjugation, Cell Biology and Chemistry processes, including, but not limited to
- being responsible for stocks of consumables
- accurately monitor and maintain chemical inventories
- to undertake safe disposal of solid and liquid laboratory materials in compliance with the H&S policies for the laboratory
- receiving and organising delivery of shipments of high value materials and consumables
- to be responsible for liquid nitrogen, CO2 and N2 deliveries
- perform assay development work, purification and analysis of chemical and biological samples under guidance of scientists in the team
- to ensure the daily maintenance of laboratory equipment, liaising with external contractors for equipment deliveries and servicing
Education
- minimum of A-level grade in Biology, Chemistry or Mathematics and laboratory experience for example undergraduate and/or industrial laboratory experience
