Requirements

  • 3rd level degree/sector related qualification or relevant business development experience
  • ability to work well under pressure, flexibly and independently on own initiative
  • the position requires frequent travel to visit prospects within the UK region 10%-30% of the time
  • capability to build relationships at senior executive level
  • previous experience in economic development, FDI or service-related sales and marketing to C-suite executives, private equity or venture capital is a plus
  • the ability to bring professionalism, gravitas and credibility to the role as a public representative of our private agency in the US market
  • track record of success in current/past career, specifically in business development & delivery; strong relationships with private sector C-suite executives in your current market is a big plus

Responsibility

  • to develop, implement and manage promotional programs, including client executive visits
  • to work with the SVP/CEO of North America for Advise Global on implementing our client’s strategy and plan for the UK market as part of an integrated territory
  • to develop and assemble one client-branded promotional event alongside strategic stakeholders
  • to work closely with the various sectoral Global Heads and Department Managers on a cross sectoral basis to contribute to sectoral strategy updates, with input on strategic imperatives for the sector from your market perspective
  • collaboratively work with other regional Directors to activate specified strategic partnerships for the client
  • where appropriate, undertake a public representative role on behalf of our client in your market and to ensure our agency has an extensive and influential network of corporate contacts in the region
  • to operate as an effective representative of the UK Advise Global sales team, communicating effectively and regularly on wider company activities and to ensure collaborative working relationships with the wider client country network
