  • we are looking for a Support Worker with a friendly disposition, who is capable of assisting individuals with an intellectual disability
  • in addition, you will educate individuals about their disability and how they can improve their skills and interactions with others
  • provide support to people who need help
  • cope with changing circumstances
  • communicate with co-workers and clients in an effective manner
  • gain knowledge of the relevant legislative guidelines and procedures
  • ensure the care worker is up to date on changes in the administration of their service
  • you will work with individuals in the community to assist them with their daily activities and help them interact with other people
