Responsibility
- work throughout the product lifecycle, having the opportunity to get involved at all levels
- support existing products in addition to researching and developing new ideas
- particular focus on embedded C firmware development and PCB design
- responsible for full code lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, test and documentation
- develop understanding of functional safety standards and industry design practises
Requirements
- at least 3 years electronic design experience including experience in embedded C and PCB design
- understanding of software architectures, self-testing routines, defensive programming, software testing
- self-driven and enthusiastic, willing to contribute to R&D team meetings and bring ideas
- PIC and ARM experience
- excellent inter-personal skills, good written and communication skills
- good understanding of digital electronics and design for industrial environments
- knowledge of software testing
- understanding of project management and aptitude to prioritise tasks
