Responsibility
- responsible for operational requirements for facilitating good stock management both in processing and finished product, of raw materials, packaging, ppe etc
- overseeing and ensuring good management of despatch records and quality
- be responsible for a team of employee's both in manufacturing and quality in two locations
- maintain communications with the sales team and all satellite offices. Report directly to stake holders
- provide support in customers and supplier deliveries
- monitor third party processes, report monthly costings, performance and be reactive in resolving and preventing issues
- maintain performance of raw material and implement changes where necessary to ensure customer satisfaction of frozen product
- liaise with the Accounts team where necessary to ensure records are correct
Requirements
- five plus years of operational and/or logistics management experience in the food industry
- superior operational skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with good, motivational people management skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- excellent time management and organisational skills
- excellent attention to detail
- full driving licence
- IOSH certified is also an advantage
