Responsibility
- liaise with all the relevant departments within the group prior to the morning conference call
- to liaise with the planning department and warehouse to ensure the daily delivery schedule and service levels are met consistently together with full optimisation of available fleet and maximum capacity utilisation
- to manage the briefing and debriefing of all drivers and communicating such information as required to the appropriate person and or department, using various computer packages
- to ensure that vehicle defect procedures are strictly adhered to and liaise with the workshops to limit down time to the absolute minimum
