Responsibility

  • icon Lifesaver an innovative Water filtration manufacturer are currently looking to recruit a part time ‘Purchasing / Buying Administrator’
  • joining the current team in its main office at Marks Tey, Colchester
  • the candidate will need to be systems driven, well organised and have a good attention to detail
  • the candidate will need to be able to prioritise, organise and complete their own workload
  • any required systems and knowledge gap training will be given by the existing team
  • on the job learning for all technical and system-based tasks is expected so the candidate must be keen to learn
  • A proven track record in administration and relationship building roles is a must, with experience using MRP or ERP systems a significant advantage

Requirements

  • procurement

  • highly organised, reliable and with attention to detail for all tasks
  • experience working with software systems for daily administrative tasks
  • ability to prioritise and complete own workload
  • experience of building relationships with external suppliers and negotiation
  • experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous
  • ERP or MRP software experience advantageous
