Responsibility
- provide guidance and mentorship to junior support workers, assisting them in their professional development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care
- adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of young people
- maintain accurate records of interactions, incidents, and milestones achieved by the youth
- support young people in attending interviews related to school, employment, training, housing, legal matters, and more
- apply critical thinking skills to review and monitor placement plans, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the youth
- cultivate strong and trusting relationships with young people, encouraging their active participation in various opportunities within our homes and the broader community
- provide positive and age-appropriate health promotion, including sexual health education
- utilize your extensive experience to establish and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies, fostering collaboration and support for the benefit of the youth
