Responsibility
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored
- provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any queries or concerns
- assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked
- adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when required
- handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given
- demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Requirements
- proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment
- basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing stock levels effectively
- excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during peak hours
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience
- ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required
