ICE CLEANING SOLUTIONS is looking for employees for positions:

head of finance

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • monitor and review the effectiveness of financial controls to ensure that they remain appropriate at all times
  • working with budget holders, prepare the annual budget for approval by the Board of Directors
  • administer and manage the company’s payroll systems and all associated tax and statutory returns
  • monitor and manage cash flows to maximise interest receivable
  • manage staff in the Finance department, monitoring their work, setting targets and carrying out regular appraisals
  • responsible for the sales and purchase ledgers
  • prepare monthly management accounts and budget-holder reports and report on these identifying and explaining any significant trends or variances
  • prepare other financial reports on specific sales activities and performances as needed

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field
  • relevant professional qualification e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • experience running a small finance department in a similar sized organisation
  • capable of managing multiple responsibilities and able to deliver to strict deadlines
  • strong IT knowledge and experience
  • effective and easy communication style, able to relate to a wide range of people
  • this is a varied and demanding role requiring excellent communication and management skills, a high degree of attention to detail as well as the ability to appreciate and take into account a wider view of the company’s operations
  • strong influencing skills and ability to contribute effectively to a strategy as part of a Senior Management Team
