Requirements

  • experience is not essential but the willingness and enthusiasm to learn is essential
  • ability to work on own initiative
  • ideally has the understanding of the mechanics in general would be beneficial but not essential
  • basic understanding and acceptance of Health & Safety rules
  • good mix of general maintenance skills
  • competent in the use of basic hand/power tools
  • this role is physically demanding due to the nature of the work and so a good level of physical fitness is required and applicants must be willing to perform physical repetitive operation of heavy-duty equipment for majority of a work shift
  • must have the ability to work efficiently to deadlines as part of a production line type environment
