Responsibility
- ensure GCLP and GCP compliance in all IAVI Human Immunology Laboratory related activities
- ensures GCLP and GCP compliance in all IAVI Human Immunology Laboratory related activities
- lead the monthly HIL QA meeting
- leads the monthly HIL QA meeting
- further develop, implement, continuously improve, and manage Quality Systems for the HIL
- assist in the development of HIL Quality Policies and write Quality Assurance related procedures
- co-ordinate Regulatory training and the compliance of staff training records for the HIL
- host and lead HIL related audits; manage audit follow up including for safety, compliance, and client due diligence
Requirements
- strong oral and written communication experience in GxP regulated environment
- experience with writing and reviewing SOPs and analytical/bioanalytical methods
- teaching/training junior members of staff and fellow scientists
- experience of planning and executing Project Team Meetings
- experience of producing and modifying GCLP procedures
- leadership experience in an environment of scientific professionals
- prior experience in Quality Assurance within the Vaccine/Biologics industry
- prior experience with electronic Document Management Systems and/or Laboratory Information Management Systems
Education
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a clinical/research laboratory related field
- minimum of 5 years’ experience in a gCLP Clinical Laboratory or comparable environment
- certification in Quality Assurance or a related discipline desirable
