mechanical design engineer
Responsibility
- develop and design mechanical systems and components using Autodesk Inventor CAD software
- create and interpret schematics to ensure accurate representation of designs
- apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles to ensure precision in designs
- participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvements
- document design processes, modifications, and results for future reference
- use a range of engineering machines to manufacture parts
Requirements
- proven experience in mechanical design with a strong understanding of mechanical principles
- proficiency in CAD software Autodesk Inventor, is essential
- strong practical design skills with the ability to create solutions to complex mechanical systems
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience
- excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics is an advantage
- mechanical design: 1 year
- schematics: 1 year
