Responsibility
- we are currently seeking a part-time Credit Controller for our Haywards Heath office
- managing the company's credit control function
- collecting outstanding debts from clients in a timely, professional manner
- the successful candidate will work closely with our financial department to manage our credit control activities
- establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients
- negotiating repayment plans when necessary
- maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer data and payment records
- ensuring all transactions are conducted in compliance with legal and company policies
Requirements
- proven experience in a credit control or related financial role
- exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- the ability to negotiate effectively and professionally
- A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
- solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant software
- strong numeracy and organisational skills
- ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
