Responsibility

in conjunction with Owner/Manager be responsible for ordering foodstuffs
ensure that all appropriate records are in place in accordance with Environmental Health, and the Care Quality Commission e.g
ensure meals are of a high quality content and appetizingly presented, and that food safety guidelines are followed at all times
liaise with Nursing Staff to ensure that residents’ dietary needs are being met at all times. Meet with Resident’s to discuss dietary needs, likes/dislikes etc
place food and drink within easy reach of the resident and ensure residents have access to water or other appropriate fluids between meals
ensure that the dining tables are laid correctly for meals, that residents have adapted cutlery/crockery as needed and the dining room is clean at all times
11. Participate in staff/relative meetings as required
adhere to all Policies and Procedures of the Home
