- keep the director updated
- engage and coordinate with the external auditors
- ensuring correct and consistent accounting policies
- audit accounts to ensure they comply with the laws
- ensure timely completion of audit
- calculating and filing corporate tax returns for the company to HMRC
Requirements
- qualified Accountant
- must be competent with QuickBooks
- at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- should have experience in accounting in construction business, specially dealing with sub-contractors’ construction-based accounting including experience with development banks
- A strong communicator with the ability to work within a team environment
- proven work experience as a Manager
- respect other team members across all functions and has a one-team approach
- knowledge and experience in timekeeping
