Responsibility
- perform routine inspections of vans to identify mechanical issues and potential problems
- diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in vans
- conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine repairs, brake system repairs, transmission repairs, and electrical system repairs
- replace faulty or worn-out parts and components as needed
- conduct preventative maintenance activities to ensure the longevity and reliability of our van fleet
- keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory
- collaborate with the operations team to prioritize and complete repair requests in a timely manner
- adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- previous experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on van repairs
- strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong communication and teamwork abilities
- valid driver's license
