Responsibility
- provide support in achieving the targets for work winning and delivery
- identify, develop and maintain relationships with main client contacts
- achieve quality client discussions and share the insights with colleagues
- initiate new sales opportunities with new clients
- direct/manage complex high value proposals
- ensure the effectiveness of our solution in meeting the client’s evaluation criteria
- responsible directly to the Technical Director for the financial, technical and project management control of the civil engineering aspects of small to large projects
- take commercial responsibility for projects
Requirements
- degree in Civil Engineering – BEng
- working towards Membership of Institution of Civil Engineers or Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation
- chartered member of the ICE/CIHT
- strong technical knowledge, including use of industry standard road and/or drainage design software and sound knowledge of current design standards
- A positive and enthusiastic approach
- ability to form constructive, lasting relationships with clients and professional partners
- knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, MfS, TSM, LA guides, etc and their applications
- ability to develop and sell innovative solutions for clients
