Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- deliver high quality working drawings for Mechanical Ventilation systems using Revit or AutoCAD software
- develop designs for both small, and large-scale projects
- review and evaluate tender specification documents to ascertain project requirements and suitability of designs, proposed mechanical products & materials
- produce accurate take-offs from self-generated and consultant issued project design drawings
- provide compliant, accurate and competitive quotations to the Sales Team
- identify value engineering opportunities within a project
- liaise with the Sales Teams, Consultants and Contractors whenever necessary
- assist customers directly with product and design enquiries
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft packages
- experience in Estimation, construction drawing take-offs and providing project tenders
- confident communication skills
- self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- technical proficiency within the Mechanical Building Services industry, particularly in the HVAC sector would be advantageous
- experience of working within the residential construction/ architecture sector would be advantageous
- surveying: 1 year
