Responsibility
- full Time Facilities Maintenance Manager to maintain all plant, facilities and machinery in good working order over 2 sites in Hull. The job role is engineering/fabricating biased
- it is essential that the candidate holds a formal qualification and has an extensive background of experience as either a Maritime Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Engineer or Military equivalent
- monitor all consumable items and maintain stores of such items when renewals and replacements are required
- ensure that all the requirements of the COSHH Regulations including adequate risk assessments, proper use, proper storage and statutory records are complied with
- maintain an inventory of all plant/equipment as necessary of replacements/renewals required
- ensure that all operations are carried out in compliance with relevant risk assessments safe systems of work
- 10. Check storage of material and equipment for damage and deterioration
Requirements
- maintain all plant, facilities and machinery in good working order
- compile and implement an on-going maintenance schedule for all equipment and plant ensuring that all statutory examinations are fulfilled
- maintain all equipment including survival crafts, helicopter underwater escape trainer, davits, winches and various other specialist equipment
