Responsibility
- ● Duties - As required, the Labourer will be able to undertake a variety of duties required to support the production of the pods such as work to prepare wood and foam details for the pods using hand tools and saws – in accordance with the duties defined by levels 4 on the capability matrix
- ● Health and Safety and Housekeeping - Will help implement and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policy and promote the highest standards of housekeeping on the shopfloor and in company vehicles
- ● Product Quality – Will ensure that their workmanship is always of the highest quality and that the Pods are made to the highest possible standard
- ● Production Schedule – Will make sure that the Pods are produced in accordance with the Production Schedule, and make sure the pods are worked on in the correct priority and in the time allotted
- ● Continuous Improvement – Will assist the Laminating & Build Supervisors and the Operations Manager in improving, and making more efficient, the process of manufacturing pods
- the above list is not exhaustive and may vary over time. The Labourer is expected to undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature, level and scope of the position and the job has been established on this basis
- reporting to the Workshop Manager , the Labourer shall be responsible for all basic labouring tasks and other such items
