Responsibility
ensuring the buildings are prepared for both routine and non-routine use in conjunction with the rest of the team
making sure buildings are maintained and that appropriate signage is displayed, this includes toilet areas and throughout the school
ensuring the efficient operation of the school’s services, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance repairs as directed by the Site manager
the opening and closing of the premises. Ensuring that the buildings are secure when not in use
routine and occasional reactive cleaning duties as required
facilitating the work of contractors needing access to the premises
to be constantly aware of the site appearance and health and safety issues
other reasonable duties as may be required by the Princiapl or Site Manager from time to time
Requirements
previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred
knowledge of basic repair techniques for plumbing, electrical and buildings
strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
excellent communication and customer service skills
