Responsibility
- line manage Huggard’s Facilities Team through Huggard’s Facilities Officer
- evaluate and prioritise repairs reported providing feedback on actions and timescales
- identify non-repairable faults and investigate and advise on suitable replacement
- ensure that Huggard Buildings are maintained and cleaned to a high standard providing a welcoming environment for those using our services
- ensure that external contractors are aware of and comply with health and safety risks and requirements on site
- undertake works to include basic plumbing, joinery and building repairs as well as core electrical tasks, such as electrical testing including emergency lighting, fire alarms and in-house servicing of electrical equipment
- ensure that regular inspections are carried out and clearly documented including fire alarm/emergency lighting testing, PAT testing and health and safety inspections
- ensure compliance with regulations relating to Huggard accommodation and responsibilities as a landlord
