Requirements
A minimum of 2-year proven experience within an account’s environment
strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail
must have excellent communication skills written and verbal
ability to solve problems confidentially
experience with Xero and Sage 50 Accounts essential
ability to work to deadlines
understanding of Purchase and Sales Ledger required
xero: 1 year
Responsibility
responsible for maintaining the Sales Ledger, including creation of invoices and statements, CIS calculation and chasing customers for payment
JOB TITLE : BookKeeper
ACCOUNTABLE TO : Associate Financial Director
LOCATION : Greenhithe, Kent
responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger – including processing all purchase invoices, approval from management, loading onto accounting software and ensuring managers are aware of payments to be made to term, issuing remittances
assisting the managers with the processing of weekly wages for SE staff – processing of weekly timesheets, checking hours, approval and remittances issued
various other Account Admin tasks such as bank reconciliation as required
