Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- carry out face-to-face farm consultations, liaising with Farmers and Agri employees
- liaising with progressive farmers who are looking to build modern & efficient farm-building layouts
- preparing & submitting planning applications
- creating practical & thought-provoking designs
- designing projects like milking parlours, silage pits, slurry storage solutions, calf housing, cubicle sheds, robotic milking setups, cattle underpasses
- calculating slurry storage requirements based on the local nitrates regulations
- using the latest Surveying Instruments including GPS & Totals Stations to carry out Topographical Surveys on farms
Requirements
- level 8 degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- solid understanding of dairy farm systems
- minimum 3 years working experience in the industry
- solid working experience with Autocad Software
- full clean drivers licence
- work on their own initiative and be a problem solver
- have excellent communication skills
- available to travel to Cork when required for training and team collaboration
