Responsibility
- safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- load and unload material, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- communicate with customers and assist team members in coordinating job installations
- perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices
- work as a helper with installers at the site, supporting the team in various tasks related to job installations
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans and trucks
- proficient in navigating using GPS systems or maps
- strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading material
- familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- commercial driving experience is preferred but not required
- van driving: 2 years
