HR ELITE is looking for employees for positions:

payroll manager

Responsibility

  • prepare, review and authorise monthly payroll and pensions submissions for all employees
  • process all payroll additions and deductions including overtime, expenses and absences
  • liaise with HR team to reconcile all absences across platforms, before applying in monthly payroll
  • responsible for informing relevant employee’s relevant employees on impending loss of sick pay entitlements and tracking of renewal of allowances
  • support the finance team in collation of payroll and pensions data for funding applications, data returns and other relevant data requests
  • ⦁ Responsible for selecting, designing and implementing new reward and recognition initiatives, both financial and non-financial
  • collation of employee data for the purposes of national, local, and industry statistical reporting and analysis e.g., NWRS reporting, ONS reporting
  • process all contract changes, pay rate changes, and starters and leavers in payroll

Requirements

  • ⦁ Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to manage key relationships and influence outcomes when/where needed
  • ⦁ An evidence-based decision maker, with commercial acumen, and credible reward & benefits experience
  • ⦁ Knowledge of MHR / iTrent an advantage
  • ⦁ A good understanding of employment law as it relates to pay and benefits, in particular equal pay
  • ⦁ Knowledge & experience of payroll and associated taxes including Executive pay, benefits, pay models and an understanding of tax and HR legislation and process within the UK
