installation engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- tuesday to Thursday are then spent travelling throughout the United Kingdom carrying out machine installations, customer training, servicing and breakdown callouts
- you will be required to attend the company’s premises in Halifax on a Monday to finish assemble, test and load your machines on to your vehicle for the forthcoming week
- friday is usually classed as a non-working day as you are likely to have fulfilled your weekly working hour requirement Monday to Thursday. On occasion you may be asked to work on a Friday when workload requires it
- due to the nature of the role and depending upon logistics, it will sometimes be necessary for the successful candidate to stay away from home, usually no more than 2 nights per week
Requirements
- experience of small machinery installations
- A good appreciation of computer hardware, file types , and driver installation
- some degree of electrical fault finding
- A sound appreciation of Windows-based computers
- machine diagnostics
- A hard working ‘can do’ attitude
- dependable
- able to use own initiative
