- establish sales strategies for major UK accounts and incorporate them in the Sales Plan of the relevant industry sector
- undertake regular visits to end-user customers to build and manage relationships and maximise the commercial opportunity
- attract new clients within industrial sectors with relevant marketing activities
- support the customer service department to obtain optimal results in sales
- negotiate and work within company framework of commercial terms and conditions
- undertake telephone and e-mail technical consultations
- prepare commercial proposals and lead practical demonstrations within the company and on customer site
- play an active role in exhibitions and trade fairs as both an exhibitor and/or visitor
