- carrying out vehicle checks
- securing of your vehicles load before commencing journeys
- to deliver our product range to our customers
- supervision of vehicle unloading at customer premises, ensuring correct items are unloaded
- ensuring delivery notes are signed by customer before leaving site
- keeping your working environment tidy
- adhering to Tachograph and Working Time Regulations at all times
- occasional nights away may be required to meet the needs of the business and its customers
Requirements
- have a positive approach to Health and Safety
- good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
- A reasonable level of fitness as duties will include strapping of loads
- experience of strapping loads on flatbed trailers would be an advantage, training will be provided if not
- driving: 1 year
- A in date valid LGV C+E licence with and in date valid Driver Qualification Card/Driver CPC
- zero driver endorsements preferred: any endorsements must be stated at the application stage
