• we are seeking a reliable and focused Accountant to join our finance team
• as an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organisation
• you will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including financial reporting, payroll, tax and analysis
• the numbers are important, but so is how we use those numbers
• reporting to the Head of Finance, you will also be managing up to four team members, including an apprentice
• leading on the statutory accounts, payroll, tax and treasury as well as managing a small team delivering purchase ledger, sales ledger, cashbook functions
• we have two accountants who complement each other, with a shared job description, but the lines in bold in the accompanying JD are the tasks where the post holder will lead
• your meticulous attention to detail and financial expertise will contribute to our overall success in providing quality housing services to our tenants
