- full-time
Responsibility
- develop and manage all aspects of project engagement programme from planning, external relationships, communications, resources, budget, change and risks
- assist the Project Director in all aspects of managing multiple projects
- in the absence of the Project Director provide project teams with day-to-day tactical leadership
- manage project scope ensuring any changes to the scope are documented, approved, and communicated to all stakeholders
- ensure each project meets budgetary objectives and make relevant adjustments where required
- resolve issues and solve problems throughout the project cycle
- ensuring definition of project scope and that key objectives can be achieved by involving relevant internal and external teams to confirm technical feasibility
- determine if external contractors will be required to complete the project plan. If required source relevant partners and coordinate in line with project scope
Requirements
- 3 Years in a similar role within the furniture FF&E will be advantageous but not essential
- 3 years proven experience in project management
- excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
- covering a wide variety of projects, both domestic and commercial as well as one-off commissions
- client relationships and engagement experience with a background of managing higher value clients
- ability to communicate effectively and professionally communicate with clients and all other stakeholders
- previous experience in tendering and costing will be advantageous
- previous experience working within a growing SME
