Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, with a minimum of 8 years experience in industry
- A basic understanding of CAD would be advantageous although is not critical
- proven hands-on experience in a small, high-end, production/assembly environment
- knowledge of quality control processes and health and safety standards
- excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with a passion for innovation and for people
- A willingness and drive to engage projects directly
Responsibility
- collaborate with relevant authorities to mitigate potential safety risks
- collaborate with relevant departments to forecast resource requirements and ensure timely production output
- establish and maintain robust quality control processes throughout the production cycle; identify all opportunities for improving quality and capture all issues before products leave the production line
- as required, oversee the installation of production machinery, ensuring efficiency and safety
- lead a Quality Assurance team to ensure only flawless, premium products leave our facility
- develop and maintain relationships with suppliers for timely and cost-effective material procurement
- implement safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions to promote a safe working environment
