Requirements
- A minimum of a degree in Microbiology or Chemistry
- several years' experience within a managerial/leadership role in a Regulated laboratory, ideally Pharmaceutical
- exemplary knowledge of microbiological or Chemical techniques
- good knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- excellent written and communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
- experience working in a regulated environment, preferably GMP
Responsibility
- honeyman Group Ltd, a progressive company and market leader in providing first class contract analytical solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join the team
- we are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical Microbiologist or Chemist to provide support with method development, validation and transfer as well as routine testing in accordance with pharmacopoeial and company requirements
- although this is a supervisory role, it is also practically based so we are looking for someone that still enjoys working at the bench for some of the week and is able to pass on their technical knowledge to the rest of the team
- we would expect the right person to enjoy the challenge of solving technical problems for our customers and to get involved with on-site training activities
- development and validation of test methods in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
- to regularly liaise with clients
