Requirements
- knowledge of preparing Section 20’s under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 for major works
- working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, buildings insurance and ARMA Q standards
- to understand and interpret leases
- to attend and chair meetings on behalf of the residential management companies
- ability to be assertive and confident when speaking on the telephone
- minimum of 2 years experience of working in residential property management
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- preferably IRPM Qualified or willing to work towards the IRPM Member qualification
Responsibility
- to liaise with residents and directors regarding issues on site
- update minutes and checklists and liaise with office support to action and distribute minutes
- to arrange for quotes/estimates to be obtained from contractors for works required
- ensuring detailed information is provided to enable appropriate contracts to be set up
- to prepare and manage annual budgets for client developments based on accounting and lease information available
- ensuring the circulation of budgets before the beginning of each financial year
- to carry out site visits to check on the upkeep of the developments you are responsible for and to arrange any necessary works
- to manage your time and diary effectively
