HOME-START HOST is looking for employees for positions:

shop manager

Responsibility

  • to maintain excellent retail standards on the shop floor and manage housekeeping in all areas
  • to recruit and manage a team of shop volunteers
  • responsible for visual merchandising including window displays and shop layout in line with high street trends in order to optimise sales
  • we are looking for a pro-active retail lead to spearhead the development of Home-Start HOST’s first charity shop
  • to proactively manage staff and volunteers including delivery of induction and all other shop-related training i.e. Gift Aid, Cash Handling etc
  • you’ll maximise shop sales and profits through the day-to-day management of the shop, generating vital income to support HOST’s work
  • to lead by example in delivering excellent customer service at all times including competently resolving any customer complaints / queries
  • interviews will be held week commencing 3rd July 2023
