Responsibility

  • ensuring safe operation in the slitting department
  • maintaining levels of organisation and tidiness of work areas during production
  • accurate and timely preparation of production documentation
  • communication within the slitting crew and between Department IC’s to ensure efficient machine operation
  • ensuring paper is produced and packed to expected quality levels
  • ensuring slitting is run efficiently by minimizing waste and minimizing downtime
  • ensuring machines are operated in a manner to minimize environmental impact
  • support the Operations Management Team in decision making and as a value ley member of the Production Team
