Responsibility
- responsible for an account base of around £600,000pa
- identify new business opportunities via cold calling, general prospecting in areas that we consider suitable
- gain a clear understanding of customers businesses and identify their needs and requirements
- the individual will have to be highly organised, flexible and good at prioritising in order to respond to customers urgent requirements
- be flexible with your approach and provide excellent customer service at all times
- deal with enquires and liaise with sales support and production, ensuring quotes are turned around quickly
- reporting to the Senior Sales Manager we are looking for an experienced Key Account and Business Development Manager to come and join our team
- able to generate own business leads and convert to new sales
Requirements
- proven work experience within a key account manager, business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- strong time management, prioritising and planning skills are essential
- the ideal candidate will be presentable and smart
- key Account Manager: 2 years
- A full driving licence is required
- business development: 2 years
- 2+ years’ experience within the packaging sector, though training of our product range and services will be provided
- packaging Sector: 2 years
