Responsibility
- generate imaginative and forward-thinking design concepts for retail environments, fixtures, displays, and point-of-sale materials
- combine artistic flair with practical considerations to create impactful designs
- collaborate with the sales and account management teams to understand client requirements and brand visions
- translate client briefs into creative and feasible design concepts
- stay updated on the latest retail trends, design innovations, and customer preferences
- incorporate emerging trends into concept designs to maintain a competitive edge
- demonstrate a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques
- ensure that design concepts are both visually appealing and technically feasible
Requirements
- exceptional creativity and artistic flair, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
- proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite , 3D modelling, and rendering tools
- strong understanding of retail environments, customer behaviour, and visual merchandising principles
- effective communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to clients and team members
- ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- preferably Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field. Additional qualifications or certifications in design or retail merchandising are advantageous
- awareness of production processes and materials used in retail fixture manufacturing
- proven experience as a concept designer, preferably in the retail fixtures or visual merchandising industry
