Responsibility

  • HJS Emission Technology Ltd are based at our newly refurbished facility in Swindon, Wiltshire
  • all the necessary tooling, vehicle and job-specific training will be provided
  • HJS Emission Technology GmbH are one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of pollution reduction retrofit solutions for the transport sector and has enjoyed a strong presence in the UK since 2009
  • now, due to phenomenal growth in the UK emissions sector, we are seeking to complement our UK operations by recruiting an Engineer
  • the current market focus for HJS is the provision of emission abatement retrofit exhaust systems to meet Euro 6 emissions standards for buses, coaches, HGVs, LGVs, cars and taxis as well as for construction machinery, generators, ships and trains
  • in order to meet the growing demand for these products, we are looking for a full-time engineer who will not only carry out installations but also turn the Swindon workshop into a centre of excellence for LCVs

Requirements

  • the successful candidate must be willing to learn as well as directly demonstrate implementation of what has been learnt
  • they are self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize and work independently without direct supervision in the workshop
  • joint projects are not uncommon and you will need to work closely with our colleges in Germany
  • you will report to the Technical Aftersales Manager and will be based at the HJS UK office in Swindon
  • travel me be required depending on the task to be completed
  • workshop: 2 years
  • the engineer must have good communication skills and work as an integral part of the UK team, subjects would include Commercial, Technical, Product Support and Development
