Responsibility

  • servicing vehicles to schedule
  • conducting routine PMI inspections
  • preparing vehicles to an MOT standard
  • undertaking general repairs
  • defect reporting and repairs
  • correctly and promptly filling all paperwork
  • maintaining high standards on all vehicles, fitting with DVSA requirements
  • communicating effectively with colleagues both within the workshop and the office

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a HGV mechanic
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • class 2 License
  • class 1 License
