Responsibility
- hillside Playcare Terling is currently looking to recruit an experienced Nursery Manager to be part of our pre-school team
- our calm ethos is centred around a child led approach to teaching and learning
- we are looking for a dynamic individual who will inspire children and lead our team in the delivery of excellent childcare
- the provision is set within beautiful countryside and offers a wide range of outdoor learning opportunities for the children, including enrichment and Forest School learning
- we are looking for a manager who has strong leadership skills and experience, who is confident in leading and managing staff, ensuring that children's needs are met by monitoring learning opportunities that are offered and who enjoys the responsibility of the day to day running of the setting
- applicants should have experience in working in close partnership with parents, managing an established staff team and promoting the nursery along with maintaining high occupancy levels
- all applicants require at least a level 3 qualification in childcare, have a secure knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and have experience in working with children aged 2 to 4 years
- the nursery is open for 38 weeks of the year, however, applicants will be paid monthly over the course of the whole year. Holiday pay will also be paid and this will be in addition to the rate of pay featured above
