HILLSIDE ANIMAL SANCTUARY is looking for employees for positions:
handyperson
Responsibility
- undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks including some cleaning duties when needed and keeping areas tidy
- grounds keeping/gardening
- waste removal
- will understand and support the Sanctuary’s ethos and values and have a genuine interest in animal welfare
- must have a UK full & valid driving licence as may be required to occasionally drive a Sanctuary vehicle
- experience of working in a busy office and / or reception environment with the flexibility to manage a variety of tasks within challenging time-frames
- moving stock where necessary
- happy to work within an environment where one or two of our rescue dogs are waiting to be re-homed and are free to “live” and play within the office area, to enable them to develop social skills with people and other dogs
