Responsibility

  • due to business expansion and growth, we have the requirement for an additional experienced and enthusiastic warehouse operative
  • the business prides itself on the growth and career opportunities that are developed from a wide and inclusive cross departmental team
  • this role is perfectly suited to those with excellent clerical and keyboard skills and have a good eye for detail
  • the candidate should not only possess the attributes for the role but additionally understand the importance of this role and its alignment to the stewardship of the business reputation, communication with our customers and the presentation of our facilities that equally match our reputation and quality of service and delivery
  • daily inspections of incoming materials, supplies, equipment and compare information on delivery packing slips with our purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
  • those working in this area are responsible for assisting the warehouse manager along with the sales and finance teams with several administrative and logistical tasks as well as coordinating with other internal departments and external customers
  • the role is based at our Greenford facility but may involve some European travel due to the expansion of our business into The Netherlands
  • performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications with 3 to 5 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • experience with exporting goods out of the UK is beneficial, but not essential
  • reach Truck license is beneficial, but not essential for consideration
  • proficient with the use of computer software
  • must be reliable and on-time to office each day to handle all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • warehouse experience: 2 years
  • clerical: 2 years
