Responsibility

  • we are looking for motivated, driven and responsible bar staff to join our team here at The Vale in Mount Nod
  • great stock control, amazing personal and workspace hygiene and constant consistency is key for a successful applicant
  • we operate a 5/5 FHRS pub and kitchen which is open 7 days a week. Current opening hours are 12pm-11pm Sunday to Thursday and 12pm-12am Friday and Saturday
  • we are looking for two new people to join us on a part-time basis on a temporary contract with the view to make these roles permanent dependent on business needs
  • the initial term will be for 3 months, with the opportunity to extend this or make the role permanent when the time comes
  • as a member of our bar team, you will be responsible for providing great service to our guests every time they visit
  • we serve a range of draught beers, ciders and ales as well as a good range of spirits, wines and bottled products alongside a large food menu
  • whilst experience working within a bar is preferred, it is not a pre-requisite as we would look to train candidates if they are a great fit, show willing to learn and are committed to the training and the role

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent
