Responsibility

  • taking a key role in joinery and cabinet-making projects, with involvement in manufacture, spraying/finishing, assembly and installation, as directed
  • general workshop duties, including contributing to the efficient running of the workshop and workflow
  • off-loading of deliveries, and loading of vehicles with joinery and furniture projects for delivery
  • installation and fitting of furniture on-site at customer premises
  • supporting on-site customer visits when required, measurement taking and customer liaison

Requirements

  • experienced joinery/ cabinet making skills – previous machining and bench joinery experience is essential, ideally with a related qualification
  • ability to prepare and work with cutting lists and drawings
  • highly organised, showing great attention to detail and pride in work
  • ability to work well as part of a small team and independently
  • flexible and able to multi-task
  • reliable, honest and enthusiastic
  • strong communication skills and a good sense of humour
  • clean driving licence
