Requirements

  • A comprehensive understanding of fundamental cell biology
  • significant experience of having run complex projects with stipulated deadlines, within scientific teams
  • the ability to quickly understand the scientific and technical specifics of projects across multiple disciplines
  • excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong relationships to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • excellence with organising, with the ability to also be flexible and adaptable with rapidly changing tasks
  • A relevant project management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, APM PMQ, Agile PM or equivalent, including proficiency in project management or task management software
  • the ability to provide excellent leadership to project teams and wider business stakeholders
  • A research background within life sciences or a related field e.g. BSc, and/or equivalent years working within a relevant biotechnology or industry setting

Responsibility

  • providing regular project status reports to the business and for the Board
